About an hour after breakfast, I decided to step out for some sun. I’m in a nice hotel in a nice city, it would have been a shame to let all the beauty just sit there.
I spent some time by the pool to soak up some sun. I liked how it was windy, but not too chilly, coupled with warm warm warm sunshine. I didn’t swim though.
Some sun. Literally.
FLOWERS AND STUFF. The flowers seen in Tagaytay and Baguio are not thenflowers typically seen in other parts of the country. Flowers here just bloom differently. It’s thr temperature, I believe.
Oh, and there are gorgeous pine trees here as well.
The hotel we’re staying at isn’t the typical hotel, like with the big building and all. This is more like a compound with buildings that you can walk to and from. Kind of like mini-country club?
The view is GORGEOUS! Over there’s the Taal Volcano.
I mentioned Sky Ranch on a previous post, and there it is. I haven’t been there, though, because honestly, I don’t want to deal with crowds and everything.
Those giant sphere things light up at night! In 2010, my cousin, Ate Mariesa, and I spent time by the glowy sphere things just taking pictures. They look so strange in daylight, but they’re just goregeous at night.
On a completely unrelated note, the climate here has made my hair behave fairly well. I still walk around with messy hair, but at least it’s not to a point of sheer rebellion. –oh, and yes, I have been very stripe-y during the vacation. For emphasis, green and white stripes.
Don’t believe the timezone on my blog. It’s set to UTC, when I live in the Philippines (GMT+8). In about 9.5 hours, it’ll be a whole new year, can you believe it? I’m glad to be spending it here.
