I bought a little something for myself over the holidays, and it’s a wallet! I’ve been a bit careless when it came to money last year. I’d often leave a few bills in pockets, and have them magically emerge during laundry time. I thought I’d get a little something to help me become more organized when it came to bills, coins, cards and coupons.
It’s nothing branded, though it does remind me of Tory Burch’s cute and colorful quirky style. I like that it wasn’t too expensive, considering how sturdy it felt to the touch.
The peeking clasps were just so adorable! That’s nice too, because I’m not so good with zippers, and I really find flying coins inconvenient.
I like that it has ample compartments. I travel about twice a year, and sometimes, I need to have about three currencies on me.
My previous wallet didn’t have a card compartment, so I pretty much had to use a separate card compartment. I like how this one lines them up vertically.
Of course, there’s the fact that it’s yellow. Yellow is such a cute color. I like the woven effect too, along with the blue piping around it.
I like to think that I’m practical, though I do tend to shop a lot. There’s nothing wrong with shopping, as long as we keep our finances in order. Keep our finances organized, and we’ll be fine! Of course, cute wallets make thrift a bit more bearable 🙂
